Group and Meeting Use
The Station is an ideal venue for day or overnight use by class field trips, community groups, scientific conferences, and a variety of organizational retreats. It supports housing, dining, and other services 12 months of the year. Please contact us for more information and to discuss how the Station can meet your program needs.
Set at the top of Salt Pond Mountain, our historic facilities offer guests a unique opportunity for a pleasant and productive experience. Removed from the distractions of the rest of the world, MLBS helps guests achieve the focus they need. 
A wide range of classroom and meeting rooms with projection equipment is available. Among these facilities are classrooms, a full-service computer lab, library, outdoor pavilion, and 100-person auditorium. Free open-access Wi-Fi is available throughout the Station.
Accommodations range from group dorms to private apartments and cottages. Handicap accessible housing is available. Groups can prepare their own meals in the common kitchen, or the Station can help arrange catering or in-house meal service.
Recreational facilities include a swimming pond and beach, sand volleyball court, grass basketball court, campfire circle, covered public fireplace, hiking trails, pavilion, and home theater set-up in the auditorium.
